Common rules — all checks
  • Confirm the check type and scope before booking.
  • Use the latest issued revision; do not mix superseded drawings.
  • The Site Checker must review required information before travelling.
  • Missing critical information goes back before attendance or before the affected work proceeds.
  • Never guess dimensions, specifications, service requirements or client decisions.
  • Identify provisional measurements and unfinished-site assumptions explicitly.
  • Photos and videos support dimensioned records; they do not replace measurements.
  • Where a change affects an earlier check, revisit the affected area.
  • Do not invent TKS measurement tolerances, legal standards or technical specifications.
  • Keep consultant ownership, drawing preparation and site verification clearly distinguished.
