Common rules — all checks
- Confirm the check type and scope before booking.
- Use the latest issued revision; do not mix superseded drawings.
- The Site Checker must review required information before travelling.
- Missing critical information goes back before attendance or before the affected work proceeds.
- Never guess dimensions, specifications, service requirements or client decisions.
- Identify provisional measurements and unfinished-site assumptions explicitly.
- Photos and videos support dimensioned records; they do not replace measurements.
- Where a change affects an earlier check, revisit the affected area.
- Do not invent TKS measurement tolerances, legal standards or technical specifications.
- Keep consultant ownership, drawing preparation and site verification clearly distinguished.
